The USJDP, Inc., along with with Vail Resorts & Keystone Resorts, have partnered up to bring you the 9280 Pond Hockey Tournament. The #1 all-ages pond hockey tournament will take place the weekend of January 19-21, 2024 on Keystone Lake in Lakeside Village at the world famous Keystone Mountain Ski Resort.
In addition to the wildly popular Men's, Over 40, Over 50 and Coed Divisions, 9280 will once again offer a Youth Pond Hockey Division along with a custom U8 Tournament designed specifically for the U8 crowd. With all the USA Hockey focus on small area games and skill development these days, we thought this would be the perfect environment to sharpen those skills, increase the enjoyment level, and provide a small area games experience that is second to none for the developing young hockey player. 9280 is the true family getaway!
Adult Tournament:
The event will feature 100+ adult teams, 21-years or older, divided into five (5) non-check divisions.
Youth Tournament:
The Youth event will feature 64 teams aged 8-14, divided into 4 divisions. This one of a kind youth tournament will provide the young athletes a great place to hone their skills in a un-structured environment via small zone games. This small zone games strategy is a focus on USA Hockey the past 5+ years with the ADM model and is a perfect compliment to the young players in season training.
U8 Tournament:
An extension of our wildly successful Youth Tournament, the 9280 Pond Hockey Tournament offers a unique, outdoor experience for the youngest among us who are just starting to fall in love with the great game of hockey. Come enjoy outdoor games on rinks specifically designed for the U8 players.
Parking:
